Didriksons on the road in the U.S.
In March and April of 2021, I embarked on another solo road trip through the National Parks, State Parks, roadside “attractions” and everything in-between, stopping when something caught my eye. As a photographer involved in the music world, I would typically be traveling overseas more months out of the year than not, which means I had never really explored the States, aside from the constant view of passing landscapes from the window of a tour bus. Then a pandemic grounded the world separating people, closing the doors into quarantines, and after months at home, I had to get outside.
Not only did I find the incredible beauty and support of nature, an unexpected love for landscape photography, but also the power of silent solitude and reflection. I followed a rough itinerary, as I work better with a plan, and nothing about this year had followed anything resembling a plan.
I had the pleasure of taking Didriksons along for the ride to keep me both cozy and stylish. thank you!

It’s in the details.
(funny) disclaimer: I’m a photographer based in Los Angeles who typically photographs other people whether it be in the studio, on the road, in planes, on mountains, in hotels, both on and off-stage, really anywhere.
Due to COVID, I had myself to photograph. I work so very well with others, I can do wonders photographing other people. And now, with restrictions being lifted and the vaccination spreading quickly, I’ve been able to start doing that again which feels incredible.
I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and happy while feeling optimistic about the future coming sooner than later.
